About the Author: Dr. D. A. Flanagan
‘Doc Flanagan’ loves to learn and to achieve, as his credentials at-test. He has earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Columbia University, a Master of Science of Nursing from Samford University, and a Bachelor of Science of Nursing from Emory University. He now practices in New Orleans. His biggest passion—outside of his work and his wife—is helping those interested in nursing. He knows from sometimes painful experiences that, “You can’t be what you don’t see.” (That’s Doc’s other mantra.) So he’s set up the Dream Big Mentorship Program to offer support, guidance, and wealth-building strategies to nurse anesthesia school candidates, particularly non-traditional ones.
